Meet Igal Abergel
Igal Abergel is a master
of hospitality. Born and raised in Israel, Igal grew up surrounded
by the
rich and diverse flavours of the Mediterranean. One of
six brothers and sisters in a tightly knit family, holidays and
special occasions always centered around sumptuous meals. His
French-born mother
was locally famous, surprising and delighting
her guests with innovative culinary creations. His Moroccan-born
father, a distinguished maitre d' hotel and sommelier at the
Four Seasons Hotel,
is a living example of legendary customer service.
Outstanding hospitality is in Igal's blood.
In early 90's Igal teamed up with the dynamic and diverse Oliver-Bonacini
Group. Subsequently,
he spent a few years as a consultant, focusing
on converting low-end restaurants and bar operations into upscale,
fine-dining establishments. In 2000, Igal channeled his passion
for gourmet food and legendary customer service by launching
his own Around The World Catering business.
It was the ideal platform to showcase his remarkable creativity
and versatility with even the simplest of ingredients. He has
catered an amazing array of functions. This is where Igal's talent
shines most luminously: whether it's for a kindergarten graduation
or a wedding, Igal's ability to tailor a particular
occasion
to a specific demand is chameleonic. His guiding principal is
to leave each guest
feeling as though a member of his or her
family created the affair. |
